Finished project 1

After a few days we finally were able to finish up project #1. We rented a trailer and started hauling up the drywall from the basement. After many trips up and down the stairs we finally got all of it out. It took quite a while to finally get all the dust out of the basement but it was nice to finish the project. We then bought a dehumidifier so that we could actually use the basement for storage.

After we got the trailer loaded with the drywall - we soon moved onto project #2 - remove the bushes out back. We hadn't really thought about this one but we knew that we eventually want to build a deck and it would go right where the bushes were. Hans decided to use the tow strap and simply pull them out. It worked great and now we are down 4 bushes.
