Pumpkin Patch

We are really missing living in Washington right now. We loved the fall time there. We went to Green Bluff every year and enjoyed picking pumpkins and eating pumpkin donuts (my personal favorite about that place) . There were so many fun things to do and we always had a blast. This is our first year year in Ohio and we don't really know where all those fun things are but we are trying to make the best of it. This weekend we went and found a pumpkin patch and picked our pumpkins. The kids love to walk around and find that perfect pumpkin.

This year it seemed like the "perfect" pumpkins were all very large. All 4 of the kids picked pumpkins larger than the ones that Hans and I picked. We ended up paying more than we have ever paid for pumpkins (dang paying by the pound!) and so we decided that there was going to be a new rule. If you can't pick it up....you can't get it! We'll see if we remember that next year ;)
