Remember all those big pumpkins the kids picked this year....well it was time to carve them.
Large pumpkins = lots of pumpkin guts. This year the kids did pretty good at cleaning out their own pumpkins. Sure helps that they are getting older ;)
The kids really wanted to do all the carving themselves but Gavin and Savannah still need the assistance. Both of them went for the traditional jack-o-latern and so we drew on a face and got right to it.
Tristen and Makayla were more into the designs this year. They each picked a design and did all the work. It took quite a while but the they stuck to it.
And this is how they turned out
