Bloomsday 2008

We did it! Hans and I are officially Bloomies. It was a nice and warm day for the race. We got up around 6 am to get ready to head out. We caught the bus and rode downtown to the race start. It was amazing to see so many people there (42,697). Once the race started we had to wind our way through the mass amounts of people. Along the way there were bands playing along the sides as well as vendors selling drinks, popsicles, ice cream, etc. It was funny to see how many people stop along the way.
