Corn Maze

Yesterday we decided that it was time to take a much needed break from building the deck and go do something fun. Each fall we always try to go to a corn maze. This year we tired out a new place and we LOVED it. It was a lot of fun and they had a lot of extra things to do. I'm not sure what is up with their posesWe started out with the kids maze - which was still plenty big. Each kid was given a clue sheet. As they went through the maze they would find post markers that would give you hints and you would then punch them off your card. We were trying to find out which animal did the crime and where they did it at. It was a fun way to keep the kids attention.after we finished the maze we headed over to the play area. The kids enjoyed playing in the corn pit, on the ship playground, and in the straw maze.
Tristen kept trying to hit us with pieces of corn. He would gather them up and then chuck them at us. Hans finally got him back. He stood at this window and every once in a while he threw one at Tristen. Tristen had no idea where the corn was coming from until he finally got up to throw some more at us - then Hans got him good.Next we headed over to the animal section. And of course we all had to ride on the cow ride.
Finally we headed over to the big corn maze. There were four different trails that you could take - each a different length. We only did one section. We finished off the day back in the play area. Tristen tucked his shirt in and filled it full of corn.
Then like a tea pot - he poured them all out.

That night the kids went to the YMCA for Parent night out so Hans and I headed back to the corn maze and did more of it. It was fun - even in the dark.
