After having our new microwave sitting on our kitchen floor for about 2 weeks we finally have it installed. We had already pulled out the old microwave and had been staring at a whole in the wall that whole time. The kids used the new microwave as a mini table. There were many days that I came downstairs and found them making their lunch on it.
We were having company over for dinner yesterday so I told Hans that we had to get it in. We had to get a tile saw to cut through the back splash tile because it was just a little taller than the last microwave. That was the reason that we didn't get it installed right away. After some luck we got it done and it is so nice to have some floor space back again.
Now we only have to replace the oven to make all the appliances match.....we'll see when that happens ;)
