We finally went sledding (besides the kids in our yard) for the first time this year. We kept waiting and waiting for a time to go and there just wasn't any snow. Thankfully this week we got some and it finally stuck around for a few days. It still wasn't a lot of snow - but that is probably because we are so used to WA winters. Since this was our first Ohio winter we really didn't know where a good sledding hill was so we went to one that was close to our house.

And the winner of the race was.....not Makayla and Savannah seeing as how Makayla was falling off.

It was a beautiful day outside but don't be fooled. The wind was really cold and it wasn't long before all our faces were a nice rosy color.

The kids had a lot of fun seeing who could go the farthest. I'm pretty sure that it was Savannah. We even took Deja out with us and it was fun to see her run down the hill after the kids a few times. What a silly dog! I think we'll try to find another hill to try out for the next time.
